How To Deactivate a User In Salesforce
- Log In: Access your Salesforce account.
- Go to Setup: Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
- Find Users: In the Quick Find box, type "Users" and select it.
- Select User: Locate the user you want to deactivate from the list.
- Edit User: Click on the user's name to open their profile.
- Deactivate User: Uncheck the "Active" checkbox.
- Save Changes: Click the "Save" button to apply the changes.
Important Notes:
- Deactivating a user will prevent them from logging in.
- Ensure you have the necessary permissions to deactivate users.
