How To Add A Custom Button To Page Layout In Salesforce

  1. Log In: Access your Salesforce account.
  2. Navigate to Setup: Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. Object Manager: Select "Object Manager" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Choose Object: Find and click on the object you want to modify.
  5. Buttons, Links, and Actions: Click on the "Buttons, Links, and Actions" tab.
  6. New Button: Click the "New Button or Link" button.
  7. Define Button: Fill in the button details like label and behavior.
  8. Save Button: Click "Save" to create your custom button.
  9. Edit Page Layout: Go to the "Page Layouts" section and select the layout to edit.
